SAP Senior Logistics Consultant

We are looking for a SAP Senior Logistics Consultant, located in CH-Burgdorf or CH-Zürich. This role works cross SAP module in different logistics areas. In this position, you will ensure support for the SAP modules as well as the supporting systems which are required to rund the end-to-end processes.

 

Your main tasks:   

  • Act as main contact person for business users within the support organization for the SAP logistics area and supporting systems
  • Work on SAP projects representing the logistics modules (large company projects and SAP rollouts)
  • IT ownership for all SAP variant configuration related topics (LO-VC, AVC, web-based configuration tool, quote print out)
  • Support the SAP GTS system and work on further compliance initiatives (customs integration DE/CH, compliance screenings, etc.) together with the external partner
  • Process analysis for SAP in conjunction with the various business partner
  • implementing system changes in accordance with the system architecture (Customizing, testing, documentation)             
  • Create and maintain the process & customizing documentation
  • Create development specifications for new ABAP developments & interfaces
  • Coordinate the external providers for change requests
  • Provide training to global & local business users

Your background and skills:

  • Experienced (3+ years) functional SD/LO-VC/MM consultant with hands on experience to lead midsize projects
  • Open personality which likes to work in an international setup with a distributed team setup
  • You are acting service and solution oriented and is you are eager to learn new topics (as example SAP GTS or LO-VC)
  • You like to work independently within the team
  • Good communication and organization skills
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English (German is a plus)
