For our Corporate Service Center in PL-Katowice we are currently looking for a:

Tactical Buyer

Your responsibilities

• Responsibility for the tactical Procurement of production material (machined parts)
• Responsibility for the financial, qualitative and timely supply of production based on existing guidelines
• Participation in and take over of purchasing projects
• Review and further development of existing as well as selection and evaluation of new suppliers and partners (supplier management)
• Identification of optimization potentials also through benchmarking, standardization, consolidation and relocation projects
• Price and contract negotiations with small to medium-sized suppliers
• Basic data analysis and cleansing in SAP
• Checking of invoices on a case-by-case basis and resolving differences with suppliers
• Execute RFX, review and evaluate incoming supplier offers

Our requirements

• You have a commercial education with technical understanding or vice versa
• You have completed further training in purchasing or materials management and have experience in tactical purchasing including materials management
• You have user knowledge of SAP R/3 (procurement/materials management) and Microsoft Office
• Basic knowledge of national and international contract law and negotiation methods would be beneficial
• You have a confident appearance, good moderation and negotiation skills and the ability to communicate at all levels
• Quality awareness, affinity for technology and production as well as entrepreneurial thinking and acting are an advantage
• You tackle tasks actively (hands-on mentality)
• Very good English
