SAP VC Product Modeler

The SAP VC Product Modeler is responsible for developing, maintaining and advancing the product configuration in a leading international manufacturing company. In this position as SAP VC Product Modeler you are directly involved in the digital transformation of the company. As part of a professional team you closely collaborate with different stakeholder such as Product Management, Production Engineering, Master data and Business users across multiple locations.

Initially the key task is to contribute to the VC rollout project with High-level modelling and general support.

The VC Modeler ensures in close collaboration with Product Management and Production that minor and major changes on the products are reflected, and testing has been performed. Furthermore the position serves as technical support for the company.

Your Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a broad range of High-level SAP Variant configuration models for Aebi Schmidt products
• Collaborate with Product Managers across multiple locations to gain deep product knowledge
• Serve as the main contact to plants to support the SAP VC Low-level configuration
• Ensure the change process for existing models in close collaboration with other departments
• Work closely with the team responsible for master data
• Maintain pricing data
• Coordinate and execute test procedures
• Contribute to the advancement and expansion of SAP Variant configuration in close coordination with the SAP applications team
• Provide support and training to global & local business users
• Preparation of configuration documents and user manuals
• Support of the planned SAP 4/Hana Rollout

Our Requirements

• Minimum 2 years’ relevant SAP experience
• Knowledge in product configuration (SAP Variant Configuration is a plus)
• Experience in Order to Cash, Sales Cycle Processing, Pricing is a plus
• Open and collaborative personality which likes to work in an international setup with a distributed team
• Works independently and is willing to go the extra mile if required
• Meticulous attention to details
• Acts service and solution oriented and is eager to learn new topics
• Good communication and organization skills
• Excellent command of spoken and written English (German is a plus)
