For our Corporate Service Center in PL-Katowice we are currently looking for a:
Head Supply Chain Management - Europe
Your Responsibilities
- Develop the Supply Chain Management team to further improve our supply-demand management and to support our company growth strategy
- Direct Leadership of our Supply Chain Management teams across Europe
- Further develop and enhance our European Supply Chain Strategy in line with the global Procurement and Supply Chain Management Strategy, corporate guidelines and tools
- Oversee the supply chain from purchase order to delivery, including order fulfillment and improvements to inventory management
- Identify and execute local sourcing strategies incl. Supplier consolidation, cost saving initiatives and securing supplier capacity
- Accountable for the local procurement results in close alignment with Strategic Sourcing
- Accountable for timely delivery of materials and components for all European Factories (On Time in Full)
- Lead and orchestrate expediting activities including alignment with Plant and Group functions
- Create integrated processes among Strategic Sourcing, Purchasing, Logistics, and outside suppliers to execute the planning/replenishment process
- Participate in the development and adoption to the global standard operating procedures
- Ensure compliance with specified metrics, operational, and personnel activities and maintain high standards of operational purchasing activities
- Identify and support logistic improvements initiatives and solutions
- Report Supply Chain Key Performance Indicators (KPI), develop new KPIs, ensure data integrity, provide information to stakeholders and suggest improvement actions
Our Requirements
- Degree in commercial / technical studies or comparable training
- Several years of relevant professional experience in the fields of Supply Chain Management and Procurement
- Hands-on mentality
- Strong knowledge of and ability to create and introduce new processes and approaches in a matrix environment
- Strong analytical skills and in-depth knowledge of material planning, operational procurement and logistics processes
- Excellent communication skills and experience in communicating with all management levels
- German and English language are a must
- Intercultural experience and competence, willingness to travel
- Ability to lead teams remotely
- Extensive experience in MS Office and ERP systems
