For our Corporate Service Center in PL-Katowice we are currently looking for a:
Functional Safety Engineer
Your Responsibilities
- Development of safety functions for mobile machines as part of development projects: specification of safety functions, elaboration of safety functions, verification and validation of safety functions
- Implementing Cyber Security in Mobile Machines
- Contact person for internal and external development partners and service providers
Additional Tasks
- Support in the implementation of risk assessments
- Internal contact person for colleagues at all locations in Europe on the topic of functional safety
- Support for approval-related topics
Our Requirements
- Technician / Bachelor / Master in the field of electrical engineering, mechatronics, reliability engineering, ideally with a background in automotive engineering, or a comparable qualification.
- Sound knowledge of risk assessments according to ISO 12100
- Sound knowledge of functional safety according to DIN EN ISO 13849
- Experience in the field of cybersecurity according to ISO/SAE 21434, e.g. performing a TARA
- Experience and ability to work with standards, regulations and guidelines
- Independent and structured way of working
- Teamwork
- Fluent in written and spoken English
Nice to have:
• Knowledge of functional safety according to ISO 25119
• Experience in the field of cybersecurity according to IEC 62443
